Exciting news has popped up regarding the shoegaze band Slowdive.

The band has been working on their first album in over 20 years.

“We’re finished recording the album and it will be mixed this summer, but we do not know when it will be released,” he told Danish publication Undertoner.
Their last album, Pygmalion, was released in 1995. The group broke up shortly afterwards. They reunited in 2014 with a series of concerts in London and a world tour.

Rachel Goswell confirmed the rumor this past May to Stereogum. “As you get older, it is quite a challenge. But we recorded quite a lot of music last year, and Neil [Halstead] has spent all of this year, in fact, in the studio piecing bits and bolts together, doing more writing on what we recorded,” she said in the interview.

Meanwhile, Goswell is busy with her latest project, Minor Victories. They are currently touring Europe this August, with more European dates in the fall.
