Los Angeles native Mike Lee heads-up Letting Up Despite Great Faults where he currently lives in Austin, TX to be with the rest of the band. They got their name in-part from a Blonde Redhead song called “Loved Despite of Great Faults.” Not a bad place to get a cool name. They’ve been together since 2006 and have two albums, Letting Up Despite Great Faults (2009), Untogether (2012) and two EP’s, Movement (2006) and Paper Crush (2011). Lee writes and produces all the songs while Annah Fisette plays keys and sings, Daniel Schmidt is on drums, and Kent Zambrana plays bass and keys. Head on over to their website for some free downloads and you can purchase the EP’s and full-length’s here. They’re about to kick-off a small tour so take a look at the dates below and go check ’em out. While you’re doing that, let’s watch the video, also below, for “Teenage Tide.” Enjoy!
