The Chameleons UK ~ Up The Down Escalator

Ok. Here’s a quick Big Sonic Stereophonic Sound Spectacular Of The Day for Friday. I say quick because I want to get it posted before midnight to count for Friday. Doh! One of my all-time favorite songs here… From their debut abum Script Of The Bridge released on August 1st, 1983, almost exactly 30 years ago!…The Chameleons with “Up The Down Escalator.” The audio in the video isn’t the greatest but it captures the band in their very early days. Soooo good! Enjoy!

I’ve been a huge fan every since the 96.3 Detroit days. I appreciate the great music which helped an inner city black kid make the days easier with amazing music. I just hope you spread the word of how Detroit paved the way for so many other types of music. Oakenfold, Radiohead, and all the likes should pay homage to the great Detroiters who made their music cool to me and the world alike. Keep making history my friend.

Thanks for the great email TJ. It’s always great to hear from my old school listeners. I appreciate the long-time listenership and support.
